Jeon Byeong Sam awakens new senses of visual information by expanding the scope of his artworks into computer, video, animation, sound, at surface, three-D (including digital media), utilizes technologies related to visual culture, based on technologies, and suggests a perspective where closed description methods turn into the ow of daily life.
Among his recent works, 'CD PROJECT' succeeded in transforming an enormous factory (with a width of 180 m and a height of 32 m) that had closed into a brilliant dream factory by attaching 489,440 CDs containing the dream of around 30,000 people in 31 cities in 9 nations (the CDs sent by them) to its exterior walls. This work, in which a large number of people participated, is also called a 'miracle of citizens' and was officially listed as the 'Largest Display of Compact Discs' in the Guinness World Record. -
