JANG SUNG
Jang Sung, a designer and art director, is currently working at the Industrial Design Department of University of Illinois-Chicago, co-founded the design studio Sung Jang Laboratory and the industrial design company Article, and is working as a designer.
His recent task MOBI, concerned with the process of industrial design and characterized as being far from design through the process, deals with how design related instruments can contain architectural, aesthetic, and psychological stories. And through the direct and indirect applications of the social, political, literary, and philosophical meanings of tasks beyond the designs of mere objects or beyond artworks, it is performing research on the possibility of design as one creative field -
